Cuttlefish mostly live in warm, shallow waters. Many are found in coral reefs, where there is an abundance of prey. They can change to be almost any color, even though they are colorblind, and can also mimic the shapes and textures of objects around them. This allows them to avoid predators. When cuttlefish are hunting, they turn their bodies into pulsating light and color shows in an attempt to hypnotize potential prey.
